Children and Teenagers

Childhood and adolescence today come with challenges many of us never faced growing up. Young people are navigating an increasingly complex world—constant connectivity, questions of identity, global uncertainty, and the pressure to excel academically in a future that feels anything but certain.

At the same time, parenting has become more demanding than ever. Many families need two full-time incomes just to manage the cost of living, leaving precious little time for the connection and presence that parenting requires. The pressure to do it all—and do it well—can feel overwhelming.

That's why my approach recognizes that supporting a child or teenager means supporting the whole family. When we work together, I involve both young people and their parents in the therapeutic process. With younger children, parents are more actively involved. With older teens, I work more directly with them while keeping parents engaged. Together, we create space to understand the pressures your family is facing and develop strategies that strengthen connection, build confidence, and help you navigate these challenges as a team.

For young people, healing and growth don't happen in isolation—they happen in relationships, with understanding, and with the right support at the right time.
